I'm just trying to point out that your use of the word "run" in describing PearPC has high comic value. It might, one day, if the developers can find a 1000% or better performance improvement.

Then perhaps you should stop using the initial release of the program as the sole indicator of how good it is. I think with dual CPUs this would change significantly - VPC is (quite unsurprisingly) hungry for CPU. Speaking on purely subjective terms, I'd say Virtual PC feels like it's running WinXP on a Pentium 200 (on my 1 GHz Powerbook).

It's also even more obvious given that I talked about cost. I didn't say "MacOS X will run far faster", I said the hardware it is running on is far faster, which it is.
